Day 1
Berhabuk sikit post kali ni. This post basically is few #travelhacks during my Seoul trip (17th Feb- 22nd Feb 2017).
So, roughly. This is the itinerary that I can share 😊
Day 1
Flight Air Asia (KL- INC)
It takes approximately 6 hours and 30 minutes.
Incheon International Airport to Seoul Station (approx 1 hour 15 mins)- by All-stop train (4250 KRW)
Check in at 24 Guesthouse Myeongdong Avenue (easy acces to subway station and Namdaemun market).
Dinner at Hongdae (Yoogane Dakgalbi Hongdae)
Rest (I mean rest is watching Running Man as the wifi is theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee best!)
Day 2
Namsan Tower
"Seoul-mate"
Lunch at Myeongdong
Shopping
Need to perform your prayers? Go to Uniqlo, 1st floor. Quite comfortable there. Less crowd. But, don't expect something as comfortable as surau R&R Ipoh okay. Itu namanya high expectation. Always told myself for every trip, expect less. You will be more grateful with what you experience.
P/S: And pretty please, try to use spray for wudu'. Kalau basah, nanti makcik cleaner tu senyum je tengok kau, tapi apa dia bebel kau tak faham. Ahjumma, i do watch Korean drama okayy. Hahaaaa
Wajib cuba
Ada sweet potato, cheese, chocolate, red bean. Nyummehhhh.
Day 3
Nami Island
Late winter, only dried leaves available. Sobs. Tapi kuasa Allah, ingatkan hujan, but it snowing in Nami Island, in February.
Winter is the season for every tree to rest a while before start blooming again for spring (R,2017). Suka hati aku je.
Day 4
Gyeongbokgung Palace.
Namsangol Hanok.
Seoul Central Mousque, Itaewon.
Ewha Womans University street (Syurga untuk yang kaki shopping).
Day 5
Elysian Ski Resort
To access Elysian Ski Resort, from City Hall station - Cheongyangni (transfer), train to Baegyang-ri station.
At that stop, you can take shuttle bus to the ski resort (approx. 5 minutes).
Footprints in snow.
Day 6
Last day before heading to airport, me and Pa'a do our last shopping in Namdaemun market to finish our Korean Won. And again, it's snowing. I'm in love.
Snowing without any umbrella. And after-effect? Basah. Actually, we didn't expect snow for our trip as it is late winter, but Alhamdulillah.
ICN-KUL
Back to reality. Work, save, travel. Repeat.
Tips and tricks:
1. Cuaca nampak indah kan? But, it is extremely dry. Do not forget your lotion, your face mist plus your lipbalm.
Kulit orang Malaysia tak sama macam orang sana. Orang Malaysia dianugerahkan cuaca yang kering dan lembap. There's always moisture in air. So, bila sejuk luar biasa, iolls rindu Malaysia.
Macam lagu Passenger- Let Her Go
Well you only need the light when it's burning low.
Only miss the sun when it starts to snow.
Only know you love her when you let her go. #Ehhh
Luka habis tangan, sebab cuaca kering sangat.
2. Bila travel negara bukan Islam, solat la kat mana-mana yang korang yakin bersih. Make your coat/ muffler as your praying mat and you fine to perform your solah everywhere. Tunjuk pada dunia, Islam ni indah dan tidak rumit.
3. Smile more, engage more. Try few koreans simple words to converse, You will be surprised at how the ahjumma and ahjushi praise you only for saying "Gamsahamnida/ Gomapseumnida"
4. Dekat Namdaemun market, dah ramai ahjushi reti cakap melayu. Nak discount? Panggil oppa. I use this trick few times, as they always reluctant when I call them ahjushi to purchase something. #bodekdetected
5. Budget?
Aku bukan jenis yang cut all possible cost while travel just to shout out, selamat travel Korea dengan budget RM500.
Bagi aku bajet tu ikut preferences. Korang pergi travel untuk apa? Shopping, sightseeing or to learn the culture? So, lain orang, lain bajet. Mengikut keselesaan masing-masing.
*Untuk souvenier, 10,000 KRW (Rate 3.78 = RM 37.80) dah boleh dapat tiga helai t-shirt I love Korea tu. (P/s: in certain area)
That's all for now. Jeju post could be next!
With love,
XOXO
