JEJU-DO
JEJU-DO
Assalamualaikum. Annyeonghaseyo.
Day 5
Assalamualaikum. Annyeonghaseyo.
First ever solo trip (only in Seoul, though). Weeeeeehuuuuuuu. And basically, I need to beg (read as "rayu" ) for my mom's permissions. As someone, who is not into KPOP that much, I don't know why I choose Jeju in the first place. But, know what? Could be one of my memorable trip ever. *Pat my shoulder.
So, my journey starts on 11th May 2017 (Spring season). 11th May to 16th May 2017.
Day 1
KL-ICN by AirAsia (approx. 7 hours flight)
ICN-GMP (Gimpo International Airport) using shuttle bus (5000 KRW) approx. 40 minutes duration.
For boarding, go to Boarding gate Level 3.
There's no direct flight from ICN for Jeju for now. So, you need to transit at Gimpo. However, recently AirAsia fly directly to Jeju from Kuala Lumpur. Wow #repeatforwintermaybe
GMP-Jeju by T'way Air.
Pick up by Kina and Syafiq. (Do follow Jejumuslimtravel guys) and rest at hotel.
Meet Rynn and her mummy as my travel-mate. Heeeeeee
Day 2

Hallasan
Jeju Dongmun Market
Day 3

Leave my backpack at subway locker for more convenient journey.
At Bukchon Hanok Village, you can rent Hanbok here for 10,000 - 15,000 KRW but as I'm travelling alone, nahhhh. I passed. Tak seronok langsung pakai hanbok sorang-sorang.
Next, Myeongdong (syurga Korean skincare)
Pit stop for lunch and street food.
To access Myeongdong,
Anguk to Chungmuro station (Line 3), Chungmuro-Myeongdong (Line 4). Leave backpack in locker. Rate per hour tak ingat. Maaf.

Perform Zohor and Asr at usual place. Uniqlo, Level 1, belakang pintu. Ahaaahaha. Kantoi secret place aku 😜

T-money acts like Touch&Go in Malaysia. Top up and you're fine to go.
Tips and tricks:
1. Spring in Jeju is just nice. Not too hot, not too cold. Thin coat will be great for preparation. Sebab kalau hujan sejukkkkk.
2. Do not forget lipbalm. Lotion is not compulsory for this season but for moisture, why not.
3. Jeju public transportation is not as efficient as Seoul. So it is really recommended to take tour guide or you can rent a car for your journey and drive on your own. For someone, who wants to relax without the hassle of driving, I avoid drive at any cost. Letih weh hadap jammed Malaysia hari-hari pergi kerja. So tak pegang stereng seminggu is heaven.
4. Seoul is safe for girl, even if solo. Rate of crime is low. They don't converse English, so be prepare. You can either bring a dictionary or just download the apps from your phone.
5. Kali ni tak shopping sangat. So, RM650 enough to cover for my "duit poket" and to try new street food.
Last but not least, this trip is last minute plan actually. Because something big happen in my life, and I want to get out of my comfort zone. #bukanputuscintaokay Cuma doa dekat Allah, tolong jaga aku dalam setiap langkah. Alhamdulillah. Ni last trip before Ramadhan 2017 actually.
Tuhan, jaga dia untuk kuuuuuuuuuuu (Siti Nurhaliza, Jaga Dia Untukku)
Thanks to my parents for your trust. Yeahhh yeahhh I know, keep updated every 5 hours. Ahaaaahaaaaha
6. Why Jeju?
Jeju covers almost everything. Forest (if you like nature), beach (if you like sand and sun), mountain and hills, flowerssss everywhere (it's spring season though), mysterious road, rocks (Yeongmori coast is "bae") and everything spice and sugar. Weather is nice, view is indescribable feeling.
7. I learn that from this trip, if you are trying to find your inner strength, try to find your time. But travel with friends and families are more remarkable for me, sebab krik-krik tak tau nak bercakap dengan siapa kalau sorang. Ahaahaha. But make new friends. I got mine. Rynn. Thanks Rynn. See you soon, next trip InsyaAllah.
Till then, stay gorgeous.
With love,
XOXO.
